Aber genau das ist das Problem: Wenn Batterie, Compute, Software und irgendwann sogar das autonome Fahren von Dritten kommen – was ist dann eigentlich noch deine technologische Kernkompetenz? Dann baust du vielleicht ein geiles Auto. Aber du kontrollierst immer weniger von dem, was dieses Auto in Zukunft wirklich wertvoll macht. Und jeder dieser Partner will verdienen. Diese Kosten verschwinden nicht. Sie landen entweder in deiner Marge oder beim Kunden. Während andere Hersteller versuchen, Fahrzeug, Software, KI, Daten, Trainingspipeline und Chips möglichst eng selbst zu kontrollieren. Das Elektroauto war nur der Anfang.
