The El Niño episode has consolidated and is rapidly strengthening. According to the forecasts from the WMO, the probability of the event persisting until February 2027 is practically 100%, and it could be one of the most intense episodes since at least 1950," said WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo. #ElNiño #Climatología #TemperaturasAltas (translated)

El Niño is in full swing and is rapidly strengthening. WMO forecasts indicate that it is almost certain to last until February 2027, which means it could become one of the strongest recorded since 1950," said WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo. #ElNiño #klimatskePromjene #vrijeme (translated)

El Niño is well established and is rapidly intensifying. According to WMO forecasts, the probability that it will persist until February 2027 is nearly 100%, which could make it one of the most intense episodes recorded at least since 1950," said WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo, as quoted in the statement. #ElNino #SchimbariClimatice #FenomenMeteorologic (translated)

"The probability that it will persist until February 2027 is close to 100%, which could make it one of the most intense episodes since at least 1950," warns the Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), Celeste Saulo. #ElNiño #Climat #Environnement (translated)

"The El Niño phenomenon is already well established and is rapidly intensifying. According to WMO forecasts, the probability of it persisting until February 2027 is nearly 100%, which could make it one of the most intense episodes recorded at least since 1950," said WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo in a statement. "El Niño does not bring additional heat to the planet. It releases the heat that the ocean has already accumulated below the surface - that's why a high-intensity phenomenon so often leads to one of the warmest years ever recorded (as was the case in 2024)." "The ocean from which it draws this heat is the warmest we have ever observed. Simply put, there is more heat ready to be released." #ElNino #schimbăriClimatice #ONU (translated)

Turpinot izmeklēšanu iepriekš izdalītā kriminālprocesā saistībā ar organizētas noziedzīgas grupas darbību Latvijā, Valsts policija nākusi uz pēdām meklēšanā esošam vīrietim, kurš tiek turēts aizdomās par personas noslepkavošanu sevišķi pastiprinošos apstākļos. Neskatoties uz to, ka 1976. gadā dzimušais vīrietis izmantoja dažādas konspirācijas metodes, lai slēptu savu atrašanās vietu, Valsts policijai, izmantojot starptautiskās sadarbības mehānismus, izdevās izskaitļot vīrieša atrašanās vietu un šī gada 18. septembrī Lietuvas kriminālpolicijas amatpersonas, iesaistot arī Lietuvas policijas pretterorisma vienību ARAS vīrieti aizturēja Lietuvā, Šauļos.
