Kvůli Zůnovi se schůzka nekonala“⁠ Žádná schůzka s hlavním vojenským představitelem EU nebyla předem dlouhodobě naplánována ani dlouhodobě domlouvána. Při příjezdu na summit se mi pouze ozval s tím, že by mě rád pozdravil. Šlo o běžný, neformální kontakt. V danou chvíli jsem potřeboval jednat s vedením Ministerstva obrany, a proto jsem následně navrhl možnost krátkého setkání. Ani to už ale časově nevyšlo, protože se nám nepodařilo sladit programy. To je celé. Není pravda, že bych kvůli jednání s ministrem zrušil nebo nestihl předem domluvenou schůzku. Žádná taková schůzka v programu nebyla. Na podobných mezinárodních akcích se běžně stává, že se dva lidé chtějí pozdravit nebo krátce setkat, ale kvůli nabitému programu se jejich časové možnosti nakonec nepotkají. Není za tím nic víc. Stejně tak proto nebyl důvod, aby o této neformální možnosti setkání ministr obrany předem věděl. Nešlo o plánované jednání, které by bylo součástí oficiálního programu. Pokud článek vytváří dojem, že ministr Zůna svým jednáním způsobil, že se plánovaná schůzka neuskutečnila, tento dojem neodpovídá realitě. #politika #armáda #EU
