Guten Morgen zusammen, heute vor zwei Jahren fiel das Urteil vorm Landgericht Ulm gegen den Soldaten Stefano B., der im Januar 2024 in Ulm in einem Starbucks Geiseln nahm weil er sich von der Polizei erschießen lassen wollte. Er litt nach seinen Afghanistan Einsätzen unter einer schweren posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung und war getrieben vom Wunsch, seinem Leben ein Ende zu setzen. Die dringend benötigte Unterstützung in Form einer Therapie bekam er jedoch über Jahre hinweg nicht. In Folge wurde der bis dahin völlig rechtstreue Mann und verdienter Soldat zum Straftäter. Die Geiselnahme erfolgte mithilfe nicht echter, aber real aussehender Waffen. Außer dem Täter selbst, wurde bei der Geiselnahme niemand körperlich verletzt. Die Geiseln sind jedoch zum Teil heute noch traumatisiert. Der 44-jährige wurde als vermindert schuldfähig eingestuft und zu einer Freiheitsstrafe von 6 Jahren verurteilt. Außerdem wurde die Unterbringung in einer forensisch-psychiatrischen Klinik angeordnet. Ich habe mich intensiv mit dem tragischen Fall beschäftigt.
