Aloitan tänään salkunhoitajana Aristoi Capital Managementissä. Hoidan yhdessä salkunhoitaja Antti Bergholmin kanssa uutta Aristoi Arvonkasvattajat -rahastoa. Arvonkasvattajat sijoittaa yhtiöihin, jotka ovat pääoman allokaation mestareita. Toisin sanoen rahasto sijoittaa yhtiöihin, joilla on meidän todentama taito sijoittaa kassavirtansa kannattavasti takaisin oman liiketoiminnan kasvattamiseen tai yritysostoihin. Sijoitusfilosofia pohjautuu arvosijoittamiseen "ostamme 50 sentillä yhden euron" -hengessä. Matka sijoittamisen parissa tähän pisteeseen on ollut jälkikäteen katsoen luonteva. Aloitin sijoittamisen sattuman kautta 2009. Äitini oli lainannut kirjastosta pörssiaiheisia kirjoja. Sain juuri omat kirjani luettua ja katselin pöydällä lojuvia pörssikirjoja. Mitähän noista voisi oppia, mietin. Samalla tilille oli kertynyt hieman säästöjä töistä sekä ennakkoperintöä. Korot olivat nollassa, inflaatio mietitytti ja tuottoa oli saatava. Pian säästöjen töihin laittamisesta tulikin intohimoinen vapaa-ajan harrastus ja syventyvä opinahjo. Historia on toinen harrastukseni. Yliopistossa opiskelin taloushistoriaa, mikä on tuonut valtavasti lisäperspektiiviä sijoittamiseen ja nykypäivän ilmiöihin. Historia on hieno harrastus, mutta työkseni en sitä kuitenkaan aikonut tehdä. Miten sitten päästä sijoitusalalle töihin? Vaikka takana on tuhansien tuntien vapaa-ajalla tehtyä opiskelua, paperilla se ei riittänyt. Onneksi törmäsin @Inderes:iin Hain Inderesille alunperin analyytikoksi keväällä 2016, koska muita paikkoja ei ollut tarjolla. Kävimme usein syömässä ja keskustelemassa intohimoisesti osakkeista ja liiketoiminnoista. Tänä vuonna nousi esille ajatus uudesta rahastosta ja ajatus minusta Antin kanssa salkunhoitajana siihen.
