Tomas Kapler wrote that the onboard computer reported an overload three minutes before landing on the Moon and that a landing failure was imminent. According to him, the computer deferred all tasks that were not essential for the crew's survival. Kapler stated that this logic was advocated by a woman who was previously told that a trained astronaut would not make such a mistake. He added that the media reported her death the previous day and that the series Women in Science would commemorate her life and achievements. #ŽenyVeVědě #Měsíc #Inovace (translated)

Professor Penguin wrote that after tragedies in which the perpetrator killed in schools, the older generation automatically blamed video games. In his opinion, they overlooked the upbringing of children in a world that they themselves did not understand, as well as the television full of violence and the romanticization of psychopaths in series and movies. #ZUEGRY #przemoc #wychowanie (translated)

The majority is going through a delicate moment, a war of the Roses, a night of the long knives: you have been forced to establish no less than three votes of confidence because you do not trust one another. But what I find disconcerting is that in a country that has the lowest wages in Europe and the highest bills in Europe, the longest waiting lists, we have here - if I were the director I would frame the front row of the government - the Minister of Justice and Health, the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture, and others will join, forced to oversee the electoral law; you do not deal with the problems of Italians because you are responsible for the worsening living conditions, you have become serial liars and hide the crisis with your propaganda." This was stated by Angelo Bonelli of Avs, in a final vote declaration on the electoral law, pointing the finger at the majority and the government, which were massively present in the Chamber in view of the final secret vote. #LeggeElettorale #Melonellum #PoliticaItaliana (translated)

Tomas Kapler wrote in a post from the #WomenInScience series that Adéla Kochanovská, born Němejcová, discovered a hidden flaw in the armored casings of grenades using X-rays. According to him, in the storage facility, 60 out of 100 pieces ended up as scrap due to cracking; Kochanovská changed the hardening process and reduced the defect rate to a few percent. She became the first woman to obtain the title of professor at the Czech Technical University after the age of fifty. Kapler stated that Kochanovská was born on March 8, 1907, in Silesian Ostrava, where Czech, Polish, and German were commonly mixed. Her father, František Němejc, was a mining engineer, and her mother, Eleonora, née Maurerová, spoke several languages, was a photographer, and played the piano. Her mother wished for her daughter to pursue a musical career, while her uncle, academic painter Augustin Němejc, guided her towards painting. #ŽenyVeVědě #ČVUT #Inovace (translated)

Jarosław Królewski appealed to the fans of Legia, Wisła, Lech, and other clubs. He wrote that for over 30 years of modern Polish football history, no one has briefly described the phenomena related to the fans' movement. He criticized some fans for, in his opinion, their superficial understanding of patriotism and loyalty, as well as for building an image of cunning despite issues with the Polish justice system. Królewski accused this part of the community of exploiting and subordinating weaker individuals, including young people from difficult life situations. He wrote that fans should not ruin their lives in the name of violence, crime, and pseudo-honor principles, and expressed hope that his post would reach at least one per mille of young people facing important decisions. At the same time, he emphasized that the majority of the Polish fans' movement is made up, in his opinion, of valuable people who support their clubs, help others, and organize social initiatives. He considered the minority that represents violence and the subordination of the weaker as a higher form of fandom to be a problem. He encouraged the audience to love their clubs, defend values, and think independently. He added that he was not interested in any pacts being made. #futbol #patriotyzm #lojalność (translated)

Tommy Shelby returned after four days of absence and summarized the events that, as he wrote, took place during that time. He stated that Nawrocki signed the fuel law and demanded a gas price of 5.19 zł, while the government set a limit of 6.73 zł. He also mentioned the horses Edzio, Ramzes, and Aramis at the presidential center. According to Shelby, Prime Minister Tusk posted a photo with a humorous caption about riding for his own money, and Radek Sikorski also got on a horse. In Kraków, he wrote, Gibała and Piątkowska were preparing for the second round. Piątkowska informed that unknown individuals were watching her son's house and tried to take pictures of him. Shelby also noted that Mentzen mocked the new female police officers, and a former officer invited him for a joint fitness test. In the further part of the summary, he stated that Lewandowski scored three goals against Romania, Poland won 6-0, and the captain received a card that excluded him from the match against Bosnia. He also wrote that the second pilot of Flydubai attacked the captain with an emergency axe, passengers helped regain control, and the plane landed safely. Finally, he wished the recipients a blessed Sunday. #Polska #polityka #inflacja (translated)

Historia.org.pl wrote that the development of Polish-Korean friendship should include learning about the history and culture of both countries. The portal prepared a text about seven national heroes of South Korea, among whom they mentioned a king who created the Korean alphabet, an admiral who repelled the Japanese invasion, and a teenage activist who died fighting for independence. The authors noted that Poles are familiar with Korean cars, series, and music, and encouraged learning about figures important to Koreans as well. #Polska #Korea #przyjaźń (translated)

On the cliffs by the English Channel lay a fossilized spine with a neck so long that the science of the time deemed it impossible. A prominent Parisian anatomist declared the find to be a hoax and a conglomerate based on just a drawing. The woman who had dug it up with her own hands was not even allowed into the lecture hall. She was left with only debts and unrecognized merits. If you like the series #WomenInScience, share it further (preferably this first post of the thread, the others just need to be liked so you know what you have already read).
