The author of the entry accused Bogucki, head of Nawrocki's office, of re-publishing a fragment of Nawrocki's speech from Stargard on October 2nd on October 6th. He pointed out that the day before, Nawrocki had said in his message that he did not want "an ongoing political war," and the following day blamed Donald Tusk's government for public finance problems and stated that the government was indebting Poles by 900 million zł daily, while every day "2000 apartments" were being lost. The author questioned these calculations. He wrote that 900 million zł daily would mean about 328.5 billion zł annually, while the maximum budget deficit for 2026 is noted to be 271.7 billion zł, or about 744 million zł daily. He added that according to data from the Ministry of Finance, the debt of the sector of government and local government institutions according to EU methodology increased in the first half of 2026 by 263.2 billion zł, which—he calculated—would be about 1.45 billion zł daily on average. He asked what category of debt, methodology, and period the 900 million zł figure referred to. Referring to the 2000 apartments daily, the author calculated that at the amount of 900 million zł, it would mean 450,000 zł per apartment. He assessed such a comparison as lacking economic value without indicating which state expenditures should be limited or what revenues should be increased. He noted that a deficit means that expenditures exceed revenues, and the expenditures funded by it include, among others, defense, benefits, healthcare, investments, and debt service. The author also questioned Nawrocki's statement that Tusk's government indebted Poles by 1 trillion zł within four years. He reminded that the government was appointed on December 13, 2023, and by the day of the speech in Stargard, on October 2, 2026, it had not even been in power for three full years. He added that the statement could refer to a forecast for four years, but—as he pointed out—Nawrocki did not present it as a forecast. #Polska #Polityka #FinansePubliczne (translated)

The documentary 'NAZA', directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, presents striking testimonies from anonymous members of the Israeli army about the methodology of mass extermination in Gaza, provoking a deep reflection on the dehumanization of the conflict and outrage at the brutality of war. #NAZA #Documental #Gaza (translated)

Javier Milei described a confession from Pagni as valuable and stated that, in his opinion, it revealed his character and a cowardly strategy. He also insulted Fernán Saguier in vulgar terms, whom he presented as a refuge of that methodology, and asserted that appearances were falling apart. He closed with the acronym VLLC. #Confesión #Verdad #Desenmascarar (translated)

The Elections Research published numbers from a Datafolha survey for the government of Ceará in which Elmano de Freitas (PT) appeared with 50% of valid votes, compared to 47% for Ciro Gomes (PSDB). Delegate Huggo (Mission), Vera Lúcia (New) and Zé Batista (PSTU) each had 1%. Compared to the previous numbers presented, Elmano rose by 2 points, Ciro dropped by 2, Huggo and Vera Lúcia remained unchanged, and Zé Batista advanced by 1 point. In total voting intention, Elmano recorded 46% (+3) and Ciro, 44% (stable). Delegate Huggo, Vera Lúcia, and Zé Batista each had 1%; blank, null, or none totaled 4% (-2), and undecided voters made up 3% (-2). The publication stated that the race was focused on the two main candidates and compared the data to a survey from September, in which Ciro was ahead by 44% to 43%. It also noted that the three-point difference between the leaders was not fully covered by the reported margin of error, which was ±2 points, and that formal interpretation depended on the specific margin and methodology of the survey. According to the published technical sheet, the survey was commissioned by O POVO and conducted on October 2 and 3, 2026, with 1,560 interviews, a margin of error of ±2 percentage points, a confidence level of 95%, and registrations with the TSE CE-09234/2026 and BR-06469/2026. #Eleições2026 #Ceará #Datafolha (translated)

The polls this year have a bias... What we are seeing in some polls in Brazil goes through a methodology called likely voters. Basically, the institutes try to estimate not only who the voter intends to vote for, but also the probability that this voter will actually show up at the polls. And here's an important point: Lula performs very strongly among lower-income voters, a segment that has historically been more prone to abstention. When this factor enters the model, the tendency is to reduce his advantage and create an appearance of greater closeness to Flávio. Does that make sense? More or less... The problem is that this type of methodology depends on something extremely difficult: predicting today who will effectively vote on Election Sunday. And 2026 may have a completely different dynamic from 2022. What we are seeing in terms of mobilization in the streets in favor of Lula, for example, is something that must be taken into account. Mobilization also affects the voter’s willingness to leave home to vote. Therefore, I have my doubts about to what extent this "likely voter" model will be able to accurately capture this election. The traditional method of voting intention has always worked in Brazil. In 2022, we had a very specific context, including PRF operations involving the transportation of voters that led the TSE itself to intervene during the second round. This needs to be remembered when someone tries to use that election as an absolute parameter to project abstention in 2026. So I would be very cautious with polls that try to turn voting intention into predictions of turnout. After all, polls measure intention. Who will or will not step outside on election day is a variable that is much more difficult to predict. #Eleições2026 #Voto #PesquisaEleitoral (translated)

Niemiecki trener chciał nowego podejścia do przygotowania fizycznego.
